Phil with Red Farmhouse Workshops - I have been working with wood for half a century, living with it, learning from it, discovering what it and I can do together. Each piece I make starts as a fresh response to the function possible in a given piece of wood, a practice that aims at melding form and function, into beauty.
Tracy with Horton Ceramics - I am inexorably drawn to working in clay and exploring its creative possibilities. Hand building is my preferred process and presents endless opportunities to develop shapes and forms, which is both fun and a challenge. The tactile experience inherent to working with clay creates an immensely satisfying connection with the material as you manipulate and build to achieve an artistic vision.
